Guest article on Beijing +30

In the fall of 2025, Nora Teuma and I had the wonderful opportunity to publish a guest article on the Beijing +30 Platform for Action in the Journal of the United Nations entitled “What happens 30 years after Beijing?” We both work on women's rights from an intersectional perspective, which we also address in the article.

Brief background: In 1995, 189 UN member states adopted the most comprehensive concept for promoting equality for women and girls at the Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing, which is why we now have the Beijing +30 Review. With regard to equality and equal opportunities, 30 years later, many answers to old and new problems are needed."
